Write clearly, number your pages,
and be sure to read the questions carefully. Students should get full credit on
these, but it is possible to lose points if you:
- do not write at least two pages of text (12 pt font, 1”
margins).
- write ungrammatically or unclearly.
- do
not number pages
- show little understanding (or misunderstanding) of the
theory.
- show that you, in fact, have not completed your
readings for the week by neglecting to mention relevant information from
your readings or by just making stuff up.
- submit your assignment late.
- fail to submit your assignment (remember, you must get
a reply from me to know that your assignment has been received. If you
don’t, it’s your responsibility to check to make sure that I did receive
your assignment).
If an assignment is unacceptable
(generally due to poor writing or poor demonstrated knowledge of the theory), I
will return it to you ungraded. You may return it for
partial credit no later than the following Monday by 4:00 p.m. In addition, if you are ever dissatisfied with your grade
on an assignment, you may redo it for 75% credit (again, it will be due by the
following Monday).
Note: Keep in mind that this is a
three credit graduate level class, and that readings are assigned accordingly.
Make sure you plan ahead—some weeks require a bit more reading than others.
