Biography:

I was raised in Southwestern Kansas. After graduating from high school in Hanston, Kansas I moved to Pennsylvania to continue my education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I finished my Bachelor’s degree in 2002, majoring in History and minoring in Sociology and Women’s Studies. I went directly into my Master’s program, and graduate with a Master’s in Social Science in 2007. I am currently working on my PhD, focusing on mental health and social psychology at the University of Akron.
