Paul Alexander
Dr. Paul Alexander is Professor of Christian Ethics and Public Policy at Palmer Theological Seminary. He previously served Haggard Graduate School of Theology as Professor of Theology and as Ethics and Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Azusa Pacific University. He also served as a youth pastor in Texas and spent a summer planting a church in Mexico before earning an M.Div from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 1995. During graduate school, Paul became interested in the conscientious objection to war and concern for social justice within the history of Pentecostalism, which became the subject of his doctoral dissertation .
Paul has taught, ministered, lectured, and engaged in peacemaking in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. He is the founder and a coordinator of the Pentecostal Charismatic Peace Fellowship and writes extensively on the theology of peacemaking and social action within pentecostal and evangelical contexts. He is also the author of the 2009 book Signs and Wonders; Why Pentecostalism is the World's Fastest Growing Faith.
