From the Heart to Heart Communications website: “Our founders, Rev. Norm Douglas, a priest, and Larry Vuillemin, an attorney, crossed paths in the spring of 1986. During his recovery from a life-changing stroke at the age of 35, Larry was reflecting on how his work life could be linked more strongly with his personal beliefs and values. Father Norm was looking for ways to help people experience their faith as more relevant to the practicalities of their everyday lives, including work. These two men, connecting with others, began to explore ways to better integrate faith and work, to incorporate ethical commitment more fully into everyday decisions, and to bridge the gap between spirituality and daily ‘busyness.’”
