Biography:
Marquita’s
interests include offender reentry and looking at possible links between
illiteracy and deviance. She currently serves on the Summit Country Reentry
Network committee and is Program Director for Project Learn of Summit County
which is an adult literacy program that provides Summit County residents with the
opportunity to achieve their educational goals by participating in free
literacy, GED and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) classes and
tutoring. Marquita works
closely with local courts and probation officers since Project Learn is a means
for alternative sentencing.
