BIOGRAPHY:
Erin is currently ABD and working on her dissertation which explores how color-blind ideology and color-blind racism (see e.g., Bonilla-Silva 1999), a typically macro and/or group-level concept, shapes Black-white intimate relationships- she expects to have her PhD completed by May and therefore, is actively on the job market. In addition, Erin is a part-time faculty member at the University of Akron teaching Introduction to Sociology in the fall and Race and Ethnicity in the spring.
