Biography: Virgil is enrolled in the accelerated PhD program and is currently assisting Dr. Elman and Dr. Feltey in an interdisciplinary effort with the History Dept. to create a data set that will allow for a “mixed methods” approach to understanding the gendered experience of North American pioneer women. He is also currently researching men’s groups in an independent qualitative project with the guidance and supervision of his advisor Dr. Feltey.
