Biography:
David has completed his course work and is currently preparing for Comprehensive Exams in October, 2008. He is studying in the areas of Medical Sociology and Sociology of the Family. Soon after exams, David will be stating work on his doctoral dissertation. His work will focus on the emotion work that parents perform in the attempt to socialize their autistic child. This work may potentially shed light on the growing phenomenon of autism and how families adjust to children who are asocial.
