Diary August 20, 2000
Our flight left Cleveland at 7:20AM. After changing planes in Atlanta we were off to Johannesburg and Cape Town. The flight over the ocean was 15 hours. Mission delegates took the time to get acquainted. You can see pictures of some delegates on board the plane.
There are many fascinating people in the delegation, each one with a different background and different goals for the mission. Together we are definitely greater than the sum of the parts. The business, government, and educational contacts that we will make separately will add up to a very successful mission for Ohio.
