Patricia Kennard

Patricia Kennard, veteran news reporter and anchor, has been an integral part of the Akron news scene for many years. Patricia was a former television news anchor and reporter for TV 23 and is now Midday News Anchor for WAKR-Radio.

Her highly developed interviewing techniques have established a healthy rapport within the community over the years through a series of special programs that entrance her news presence. Patricia has covered the courts, education, medicine, consumer affairs, and has an excellent flair for human interest stories.

As the original co-host for the Children's Miracle Network Telethon for Akron Children's Hospital, she has participated in the event yearly as well as pitching for PBS 45/49 each year.

Ms. Kennard is an inductee in the Broadcaster's Hall of Fame.
