On July 9, Project "Teaching Inquiry in Mathematics and Science" is
hosting
a luncheon meeting to which you are invited. Our speaker will be Dr.
Rosalina Hairston, Professor of Science Education and Biology, The
University of Southern Mississippi. Hattiesburg, MS. The topic of
discussion will be "Transformations from Traditional to an Investigative
Student-Active Introductory College Biology." She will focus on
improvement of content, methods of instruction, and use of educational
technologies in introductory biology. The attached file contains Dr.
Hairston's vita and the abstract of her talk.

Place: Honors Commons Room, 264 Gallucci Hall at The University of Akron.
Parking is available in close proximity to the building.
