10 June 2007 -- The Titriş Höyük database goes on-line. The database now includes small maps of each locus, as well as updated information on artifacts, loci, and dating. Specialist report on micromorphology is added to downloadable files.
13 February 2006 -- Latest version of the Filmemaker database were added. New datafields for the sherd weights were added from Yoko Nishimura. These record the weights of the pottery batches by ceramic ware type. A total of 934 records were added. Also, a field was created to add the location of each locus on the schematic plans for each area. Only a few entries have the schematic plans at this time. A list of the current codes for pottery description was added to the downloadable files.
21 September 2005 -- Updated versions of the schematic plans showing the main Outer and Lower Town architecture were added to this page. All buildings, rooms and streets are now labelled with the correct numbers. These diagrams will be referenced in the database.
14 September 2005 -- Imported 504 new records into artifact table from old Word list; entered 8 new records into artifact table from from 1999 season. Created new report screen for searching for TH numbers and artifact descriptions by locus number.
13 September 2005 -- Imported existing FM5.5 records for basic locus and artifact information into the FM7.0 database. Rationalization of the field definitions, including combining several existing fields into a single field and the addition of new data fields necessary for research queries. The Artifact Type and Artifact Subtype fields were standardized and most of the data was cleaned to conform to new strict value lists. Primary, secondary and tertiary context definitions from the FM5.5 database were combined into a single field with standardized search terms. Preliminary data cleaning included removing 45 duplicate records from the Artifact table. Updated files were uploaded to the webpage.
