Joining the Student Toastmasters club at the University of Akron  is the best way to improve your communication skills. We strive to provide a comfortable and encouraging environment for students to improve their public speaking skills. Toastmasters can help you lose the fear of public speaking and learn presentation skills that will help you become more successful in your life. Improved communication skills acquired through participation in the Student Toastmasters club will increase your chances for increased visibility and recognition. As a campus-wide organization, we welcome ALL university members to come and participate in the group.

The Student Toastmasters club at the University of Akron meet on Tuesdays (3:00 - 4:00 p.m.  in CBA Room # 138), and Wednesdays (12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in CBA Room # 134). If you would like to know more about joining Student Toastmasters please go to How to Become a Member page.

Let's gather to wish our former V.P. of Activities Malay Ghose Hajra good luck as he leaves Akron for an environmental engineering position with a firm in Houston, Texas.  Malay has been responsible for many things in Toastmasters, including the design and update of this website last semester.  You can still contact Malay at malay_ghose@yahoo.com.  Malay, we'll miss you!
