All Ohio Championships

The Akron distance group had a great weekend at the All Ohio Championships. Erin Frye got the ball rolling by winning the 10,000m on Friday night. Also winning their races were Bobbie Hardbarger (800m and 1500m) and Todd Moyers (1500m, second section). In winning the 1500m Bobbie set a new school record and met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard. Her time of 4:23.82 is roughly equivalent to a 4:42 1600m. Below is a recap of the Akron distance accomplishments at the All Ohio Meet:

Zips Distance Crew Adds Two

Lisa McCaulley (Carrollton HS) and Becki Michael (Marlington HS) have both committed to the University of Akron. They will join Katrina Jones and Brandi Schoeppner as freshmen on next year's women's team.
