Indoor Season Update

Although early February usually is not a good time for a season update -- holidays, weather, and hard training conspire against fast times -- but, at the suggestion of Morgan Sulzener, I will give a quick recap of the indoor highlights to date. Several runners have run personal best times, exceeding even their outdoor bests. Jaime Alton ran 10:30.19 for 3000m (~11:12 for 3200m) and Todd Moyers, competing unattached, also ran a PR at that distance, clocking a 8:53.77 (~9:28 for 3200m). Malia Milec joined in the PR action with an 11:51.08. Bobbie Hardbarger and Jennie Castle both ran indoor bests in the 800m with times of 2:14.75 and 2:15.26 respectively. Jennie's time was accomplished despite running on a sprained ankle. In the 5000m Erin Frye justed missed her PR when she ran 18:17.

For a list of most PRs prior to the indoor season go to the Cross Country Page and click on Roster.
