The Akron men's and women's cross country teams travel to Indiana to compete in the Notre Dame Invitational this Friday. The men will be running in the Gold Division 8000m race at 2:45 pm. The women will be competing in the Blue Division 5000m race at 4:15 pm. The men will compete in a field of 22 teams, including MAC foes Western Michigan and Bowling Green. The women's race will have 24 teams featuring #2 ranked Stanford and #3 ranked Notre Dame. The other MAC schools competing will be Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.

The Akron women have been ranked 10th in the Great Lakes Region for the past 3 weeks.
