Women 2nd, Men 4th at
Miami Fall Classic

Adriana Zalucka won the individual title and the Akron women ran a solid team race to place second at the Miami Fall Classic. Erin Frye (7th) and Morgan Sulzener (9th) joined Zalucka in the top 10. Zalucka's effort is the fifth fastest all-time on Miami's Western Campus course and the fastest ever by a MAC runner. For her efforts she was named MAC Runner of the Week.

The men, behind the 9th-place finish of David Howard placed fourth. Despite placing behind conference rival Buffalo, the men's team closed the gap on the Bulls. At the Tommy Evans Invitational eight Buffalo runners finished before Akron's fifth man. At Miami that number was reduced to five.
