Last Saturday Akron competed in the unscored Lake Marie Relays hosted by Ashland University. The pair of David Howard and Adam Bray paced the men with a time of 64:41 for the 12 miles (each runner ran four 1.5M legs). Freshman Howard had the fastest average among the men (7:46). For the women, Erin Frye and Becki Michael ran 57:30 for 9 miles. Another freshman, Morgan Sulzener, paced the women with a 9:25 average.

Tommy Evans Invitational

Akron will compete in their only home meet this Saturday. Also competing will be Buffalo, Kent State, and Ohio State. The men's 4M race gets underway at 11:30 am and the women's 5km race follows at 12:15 pm.
