February 26, 2003 Kent Tune-up Brings Season's Best Performances Eleven Akron middle distance and distance runners ran season's best times at the Kent Tune-up, the final competition before the MAC Indoor Championships. Chris Perun (9:04.19, 3000m), Jake Magier (4:39.47, mile), Morgan Sulzener (5:09.11, mile), and Becki Michael (2:19.93) all ran lifetime bests, while Emily Freudenrich (59.37, 400m), Amy Hutchison (61.66, 400m), Jeff Swartzel (1:59.05, 800m), Nick Continenza (2:00.46, 800m), Tim Myers (4:31.27), and Malia Milec (12:05.16, 3000m) improved on their season's best times. Finally, Adriana Zalucka running her first 3000m in an Akron uniform captured the school record. Her 9:50.19 eclipsed the 9:54.41 standard set by Michelle Rizzo in 2000. ***
