Rudzinska Shatters MAC Indoor Meet Record.

Beata Rudzinska ran the 800m at the MAC Indoor Championships in a meet record 2:06.27 improving the previous record by over two seconds. Teammate Jennie Castle placed second in the final, running 2:11.62, after winning her preliminary race in 2:11.51. Rudzinska and Castle now own 4 of the top 7 times in MAC Indoor Championship history. Emily Freudenrich PRed running 2:17.67, but she did not qualify for the finals.

Morgan Sulzener scored in the women's 5,000m on Friday evening by running 17:33.72 , a 20-second personal best. Sulzener (10:09.72) and Lisa McCaulley (10:20.67)also ran personal best times in the 3,000m.

In the women's mile Becki Michael dropped her personal best to 5:12.42 and Brandi Schoeppner ran a seasonal best, 5:21.72.

The men's distance medley relay team of David Pykare, James Baisden, Jeff Swartzel, and Tim Myers ran a season's best time (10:37.23), but did not score. The women's distance medley team (Castle, Lucretia Corbin, Becki Michael, and Rudzinska) finished 8th. Castle, Corbin, and Rudzinska teamed up with Deanna Caldwell on the 4x 400m relay team that ran 3:49.87.
