Zips Race at EMU Invitational

This time last year Brandi Schoeppner was running 5:30 in the mile and David Howard was waiting to undergo surgery on his knee. Things are different for that pair this year. Schoeppner has run PRs at every distance she has raced, most recently a 5:09.05 mile at the EMU Invitational. Howard also ran the mile and he recorded a 4:24.85 clocking. That performance followed a fine 8:45.41 for 3,000m last week.

Also racing well were Morgan Sulzener (mile, 5:09.82), Rachel Zubricky (800m, 2:19.94), Chris Perun (mile, 4:29.85), and David Pykare (800m, 1:58.65).
