Pykare PRs in Mile

Competing in a dual meet against Kent State David Pykare ran 4:18.69 in the mile. It was his, and the team's, fastest performance of the season. Chris Perun (4:23.45) and David Howard (4:23.72) also ran PRs for the distance. In the women's mile Brandi Schoeppner ran 5:12.97 and Becki Michael had a 5:17.12 clocking. The mile was the longest event contested in the meet.

In the 800m Emily Freudenrich rebounded from a sub-par performance at Eastern Michigan to run 2:18.56 and Rachel Zubricky ran 2:21.44. In the men's 800 Scott Mate ran 2:01.99 and Jeff Swartzel rebounded from a fall early in the race to run 2:04.35.
