Michael, Rudzinska & Sulzener Win at Quad Meet

Becki Michael (11:18. 4; 3,000m steeplechase), Beata Rudzinska (2:08.6; 800m) and Morgan Sulzener (17:45.8; 5,000m) each won individual events to help the Akron women to a comfortable victory over runner-up Buffalo, Kent State and Toledo in the Akron Quad. Rudzinska also teamed with Emily Freudenrich, Siobahn Counts and Jennie Castle to win the 4x 400m relay. Rachel Zubricky (4:39.0; 1,500m) and Brandi Schoeppner (18:26.6; 5,000m) earned second-place finishes.

Chris Perun (3:59.4; 1,500m) and David Howard (15:19.9; 5,000m) posted fourth-place finishes to help the men's team to a third-place finish, ahead of Buffalo and just two points behind Kent State.
