Cross Country Teams Travel to Notre Dame

This Friday the men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Indiana. The men will run in the Gold Division race at 2:45 pm. The Akron women will run in the Blue Division race at 4:15 pm.

Sophomores David Howard, Chris Perun, and David Pykare lead the men's team. In their last outing the men ran in the unscored Toledo Invitational.

Morgan Sulzener has been the Zips top female runner this season. She will be joined on Friday by last year's top runner, Adriana Zalucka. Sulzener is coming off an impressive third-place finish at the Miami Invitational. Zalucka was a national qualifier in both cross country(she placed 49th at last year's NCAA Championships) and track, where she ran in the 10,000m.
