Akron Opens Indoor Season at Akron Quad
Kim Lorentz ran a 10" PR to win the 3000m in the Akron Quad overcoming strong competition from Michigan, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. In clockinging a 9:50.47 Lorentz put 5" on Michigan's Danielle Tuaro by sprinting the final 600m in 1:47.2. In the women's mile Larisa Arcip placed 2nd running 4:59.15 and Danielle Sidell clocked a 2:16.61 in the 800m.
