Ohio Tri-Meet Notes

Entries

  • Entries should be received by Tuesday, April 30 by 7:00 pm.
  • Final declarations should be made by Thursday, May 2 by 7:00 pm.
  • Please enter performances achieved in 2002.
  • Please submit field event marks metrically.
  • Entries can be faxed to Scott Jones (330/972-6463) or submitted via e-mail (sjones4@uakron.edu)

    • Scoring

    Scoring will be done both as dual meet scoring (individual events: 5-3-2-1, relays: 5-3) and as triangular scoring (Individual events:7-5-4-3-2-1, relays: 7-5-4).

    There will be one scoring section for each running race. The two fastest entrants from each school will be placed in the scoring section of the races run in lanes, unless specified otherwise. Open lanes will be filled in the scoring section on the basis of entry times.

    Notes

  • The honest effort rule will be in effect.
  • All implement weigh ins will be conducted in the track building by 10:30 am.
  • Check in for running events will take place at the track building 30' prior to each race to receive hip numbers.
