  Akron is working on becoming the premier pole vault
      program in the Midwest and nation. We are setting up the facilities,
      meet schedule, coaching, and atmosphere needed to help us reach
      this goal. We want every vaulter and coach who has contact with
      this program to see University of Akron as a refuge for pole
      vault success, "Pole Vault Heaven".
