A great team effort.  I was very proud of your efforts.  It was nice for me to see Akron back winning meets.  Morgan and Lisa
did a fabulous job, running the last 1km in 3:41!  Congratulations to Adriana on winning her first collegiate race, despite not
feeling well.  Erin ran 21 seconds faster than last year and Brandi matched her cross country PR.  Already the other MAC
schools are noticing us.  If we can stay focused in our training this will be a very special season.  Keep up the effort and
enthusiasm.

I was pleased with the team's effort.  Although we have a lot of work still to do, I am confident that you will be up to the challenge.  We
will get much better by the end of the year.  On Saturday we faced three good and mature teams (Buffalo's top three runners are seniors,
Kent State's top 5 includes a redshirt sophomore, a junior, and two seniors, Ohio State has no freshmen on its roster and two seniors and
a junior are in their top 5).  If we learn how to train and are willing to work hard and be patient we will become better than those teams.
Dave Howard, Chris Perun, and Tim Myers did a great job in their first real collegiate race.  David Pykare competed well at the end of the
race.  Jake Magier ran a minute faster than last year.  We need Todd and Wes to race as they are capable and then we will really surprise
people.  It is going to be a fun and exciting year.  Keep up the effort and enthusiasm!
