It was a very good day for our team.  It was nice to see Ada and Rachel run well in their first meet of the season.
We accomplished most of the goals I had set for the team.  We beat all of the MAC schools and all of the schools
in our region except Notre Dame.  Among the schools we beat, Cal (4th in the West Region), Mississippi State
(5th, South), South Florida (8th, South), and Central Michigan (8th, Great Lakes) were ranked in the top 10
in their respective regions.  Among the schools that beat us, all but Vanderbilt received votes for the national
top 30 poll (and Cal also received national votes).  Also, despite the conditions everyone ran faster than at last
year's ND Invitational.  The one area we definitely need to work on is our start.  We did not put ourselves in
position to be as competitive as we could be.  We need to work on this if we are to succeed at All Ohio and at
the MAC meet.  Congratulations to Jennie, Katrina, and Rachel on their PRs.
What if we all ran 10" faster?  Then our top 5 places are: 9, 10, 25, 63, 70 = 177 and we beat Washington (#30)
