The goals I had coming into the meet included:
Grade
1.Win the meet C
2. Compete well as a team C
3. Win the little battles B
4. Four All-MAC runners B
As I told you after the race,  when you set yourself up to achieve the highest goal anything less than that is
disappointing.  However, I feel we did the best we could on that day and that we did, in fact, accept the
challenge fearlessly.  Now we have to accept the outcome and learn from the experience.  I was very pleased
with the races of our top 3.  Beata and Jennie ran great races and truly earned their All-MAC first team honors.
Morgan, once again, gave us an incredibly tough competitive race on a day when she wasn't running her
best.  I think we got average races from Rachel and Emily but, of course, we were all hoping for better than
average.  Having had time to evaluate our preparation for this meet I feel I have to accept my share of the
blame for why we didn't race better.  In retrospect I could have managed things better the week after
Penn State.  I anticipate that we will race much, much better at the regional meet and end our season on a
very high note.
