The goals I had coming into the meet included:
Grade
1. Execute the race plan B+
2. Show resourcefulness B
3. Display competitive toughness B+
At our first meeting I stated that I would judge this team on its ability to compete.  I said it was more important than
winning and losing.  I also said that we will go into every competition to do our best, to accept the challenge fearlessly,
to accept the outcome, and get better in the process.  And even after the disappointment of Friday's race I can still feel
good about this team because I think we competed as well as we could on that day.  We executed the first half of the
race plan perfectly and then, for some of us, things didn't work out.  But there is no questioning the effort that was put
forth.  If we accept that and work to get better we're a better team.  I was very proud of Morgan's competitiveness.  She
tried to win and was willing to risk everything to do it.  Brandi followed the race plan flawlessly and ran a great race.  I
also want to note Emily's and Gina's races, which were much better than their races at Notre Dame.  I hope that we
can use the All Ohio result in a constructive way to heighten our determination to train and compete well in our
remaining meets.
