I am very pleased with the improvements that we've made.  Obviously, since we finished third, we're not yet a
finished project, but I think we understand the process so we'll get to where we want to be by the end of the
season.  We must continue to do our workouts the right way -- with discipline and confidence -- and that will
progressively build our ability to compete and our confidence throughout the season. As you can see, we've
made considerable progress relative to Buffalo in one week; our difference from last week was 15" better than
theirs and Morgan cut her deficit with Koeppel from 29" to 7".  Also, here's what we plausibly could have done
better:  Brandi runs 30" faster (the resulting 41"improvement is very conservative) and places 3rd. Rachel goes
out with Becki and maintains the pace she finished with for the last two miles and runs ~18:45 and places 20th.
Becki runs her last mile 10" faster to maintain her pace (like Morgan and Jennie did), runs 19:02 and finishes
30th.  Our resulting team score would be (2, 3, 9, 20, 30 = 64) and our average time would be 18:26.
Congratulations to Emily and Gina for their cross country PRs and to Kristin for her massive improvement from
the Tommy Evans race.
