The goals I had coming into the meet included: Team Scores
Grade  Akron 21
1. Experience a 5km race A Buffalo 34
2. Win the meet A
3. Develop good pace/effort judgment B+ Firsts:
4.  Work with teammates A- • Win of 2005
5. Compete A- • College race for OJ & HS
• XC race for JC
• XC win for BR
We had a very good, solid effort for our first meet.  I am pleased that we won and competed well to accomplish that goal.
We should never forget that our objective is to compete as well as we possibly can as a team and as indivuals.
I feel we are where we should be for this time of the year, but we should expect to be improving throughout the course of the
season.  So far, all of the work we have done has only made us tired for this meet.  We are still waiting to see the rewards of
that work.  I want to make a special note of Morgan's race, by beating Jezorski she clinched our victory.  Rachel competed
well and passed 5 Buffalo runners over the last two miles.  Holly and Gina ran together and moved up through the race.
In addition to going 1-2, Beata and Brandi also were strong over the last mile, recording their fastest mile split from 2M to 3M.
This week we want to train productively and continue our improvement progression.
