Zalucka Breaks School Record in the 3000m at Kent. For the second time in two weeks freshman John Russell broke the school record in the pole vault. Competing at the Scarlet and Gray Invitational at Ohio State, Russell vaulted 17' ¾". His previous record, set at the All Ohio Championships, was 17' 0". Adriana Zalucka (left) set out to run a MAC qualifying time in the 3000m (10:30) and came away with a school record, 9:50.19, at the Kent Tune-up meet.
