All Ohio Championships
Running in the 48th All Ohio Cross Country Championships the Akron women placed 4th, an improvement of 3 places from last year, while the men placed 18th in a field of 41 teams. Adriana Zalucka (3rd) and Erin Frye (10th) both placed in the top 10 and received All Ohio recognition. Rounding out the scoring for the women's team were Lisa McCaulley (25th), Brandi Schoeppner (46th), and Katrina Jones (78th).
The men were led for the second consecutive week by Chris Perun (80th). David Pykare was the second Zip finisher (and 93rd overall), his highest placing on the Akron team. Also placing were Wes Parker (109th), Jake Magier(110th), and Todd Moyers (115th).
