Auburn Invitational
Both the men's and women's teams came away from the Auburn Invitational with a slew of great competitive performances. The women placed 6th of 30 teams, while the men's team has been credited with a 14th-place finish pending the resolution of problems with the results.
Todd Moyers regained his 2001 form leading the Zips with a 24:55 clocking. Last year Todd was Akron's top finisher in all but one meet. On Saturday, for the first time this season, he was Akron's number one runner. He was followed by Chris Perun (25:19), David Howard (25:40), Jake Magier (26:12), and Wes Parker (26:16).
Hot on the heels of Akron's number one runner, Adriana Zalucka (17:33), were Erin Frye (17:41), Morgan Sulzener (17:52), Lisa McCaulley (18:03), and Brandi Schoeppner (18:37). The women placed 6th in a field of 30 scoring teams.
