Castle, Rudzinska Contribute to Sprint Medley Relay Record

Running in the Texas Relays, Jennie Castle split 56.1 on her 400m leg and Beata Rudzinska ran the anchor 800m leg in 2:08.5 to help the Akron women break the school record in the sprint medley relay. Sprinters Tamala Perryman and Lucretia Corbin ran the opening two 200m legs. The quartet broke the record set at last year's Florida Relays. Corbin and Castle were a part of that record-setting team also, along with Deanna Norflee and Bobbie Hardbarger.
