Lake Marie Relays
Akron opened its season at the 4th Lake Marie Relays. Leading the way for the men was the team of Dave Howard and Adam Bray, running their four 1.5M legs (each) in 64:41. The top women's duo was Erin Frye and Becki Michael who ran their three 1.5M legs in 57:30. Howard, a freshman, had the fastest average among the men, while another freshman, Morgan Sulzener, paced the women. No team scores were kept.
