Castle, McCaulley, Rudzinska, and Sulzener PR at PSU National Open

A small group of middle distance and distance runners travelled to Penn State to compete in the National Open and all came back with personal-best performances. Competing in the 5000m on Friday night Morgan Sulzener ran 17:53.55 and Lisa McCaulley ran 18:01.37. The next day Beata Rudzinska and Jennie Castle competed in the fast section of the women's 800m. Beata placed fourth overall (third collegian) and broke her school record with a 2:08.02 performance. Jennie finished 6th overall (fourth collegian) in 2:12.89.

OSU Invitational

Another group competed in Columbus at the OSU Invitational. Becki Michael placed second in her section of the mile. Also competing were Jackie Fejes, Emily Freudenrich, Jeff Swartzel, David Pykare and Chris Perun.
