Lake Marie Relays to be Held in Akron

The traditional season-opening cross country meet for Akron, Ashland, and Kent State, which has been held at the beautiful Lake Marie course for the past four years, will be hosted by The University of Akron at Howe Meadow in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Summer flooding at Lake Marie forced the venue change. The meet begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 30 with the men's 4x 1.5M relay event. The women will compete in a 3x 1.5M race.
