Rudzinska Smashes School Records in 800m and Mile
Beata Rudzinska, running in her second meet of the season, set school records in the 800m, (2:05.57 to better her 2:05.97 set last year at the Notre Dame Alex Wilson Invitational) and in the mile (4:48.19 to erase Michelle Rizzo's 4:57.90 clocking from 2000). She qualified automatically for the NCAA Championships in the 800m. Also running in the mile freshman Rachel Zubricky ran a personal best 5:06.22 to finish 4th and Brandi Schoeppner ran 5:09.22 to place 6th. In the women's 3,000m Becki Michael also recorded a PR with her 10:27.98 clocking.
In the men's races Adam Bray ran 1:58.57 in the 800m. Running the mile, David Pykare ran 4:18.41 and Scott Mate 4:25.70 and in the 3,000m David Howard just missed his PR running 8:38.31.
