Continues PR Trend at EMU Invitational
David
Howard Strong in Mile
Brandi Schoeppner
opened her season running a lifetime best in the 5,000m (18:08.83) at
the Golden Flash Gala. She greeted the new year with a PR in the 3,000
(10:22.24) at the Black Squirrel Classic. Running in the mile at the Eastern
Michigan Invitational she kept her streak intact by running another PR,
5:09.05, to place third. She was closely followed across the finish line
by teammate Morgan Sulzener (5:09.82). Also, Rachel Zubricky placed fourth
in 800 (2:19.94).
After missing last
track season due to knee surgery David Howard is putting together a strong
indoor season. His lastest result was a 4:24. 85
clocking for the mile. In the same race Chris Perun ran 4:29.85. In the
800m David Pykare turned in a 1:58.65 performance.
