Sulzener Named MAC Runner of the Week
Sophomore Morgan Sulzener won her first collegiate cross country race last Saturday. On Tuesday she was recognized for her achievement by the Mid-American Conference as its female Runner of the Week. It is the first time that Sulzener has received this honor. Competing in the Tommy Evans Invitational, Sulzener posted the second-fastest time ever recorded on the challenging Indigo Lake course, 18:13. Only former Akron great Bobbie Hardbarger's 17:57 clocking is faster. Sulzener and the Zips will compete this Saturday at the Miami Invitational in Oxford, OH.
