Akron Women 8th in Great Lakes Region



	Akron Women Enter Season Ranked 8th in Great Lakes Region The Akron women are 8th in the pre-season rankings of the Great Lakes Region. It is the highest-ever ranking for the Zips in the region. Earlier the coaches of the Mid-American Conference picked Akron to place 2nd in the MAC. Both the men's and women's teams open the 2004 season this Saturday at the Lake Marie Relays hosted by Ashland University.	*Upcoming Events*
