Sulzener Leads Women at Notre Dame
The Akron women placed 19th in a loaded field at the Notre Dame Invitational. Morgan Sulzener ran 17:39, good for 36th place, and was followed by Jennie Castle (17:53, 61st), and Brandi Schoeppner (18:06, 76th) to help the team defeat Wisconsin, Florida, Western Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech.
The men's team received strong performances from David Howard (25:47) and David Pykare (25:51) to finish 14th in the Gold Division race.
