Sulzener, Men's Team Finish Second at Central Collegiates

The men's cross country team backed up its eye-opening performance in the Tommy Evans Invitational with a solid second-place showing at the Central Collegiate Championships. The Zips scored 80 points to finish behind only Central Michigan, the MAC pre-season favorite. David Howard led the way for Akron finishing third among the collegiate athletes.

The women, who finished third, were led by All-MAC runner Morgan Sulzener's second-place effort. Jennie Castle also earned a top-10 finish, placing eighth in 18:24.
