Anime Information

While our organization has shown a wide variety of animation, from a diverse range of countries, the majority of what we show is Japanese animation.

The subject matter of anime ranges all the way from pure fantasy (dragons, knights, and wizards) to depictions of modern life (high school, work, and other common problems).  In turn, these subjects are examined with humor, drama, horror, and more--though almost always with a quality to plot, design, and other factors which is absent in much of American animation.

Cartoon Network is trying to expand their anime content with a new site called the Toonami Reactor.  It will supposedly have streaming video of some of their anime content and some other interesting features.

5/06/01--This is likely to be the last update by me, as I'm turning over the reins on Tri-A to a new president.  I'll still be around to advise, but I won't be taking a big part in the day to day running of the club.  Sayonara, and best of luck to Tri-A.

5/19/01--The next meeting will be on Saturday, May 19th.  The spring semester is over, and further meetings will probably be held by Josh Hansford.
