Cataloging for Local (direct) Electronic Resources

In the summer of 2005, it was collectively decided that we would no longer use the call number "Computer software." Instead, electronic resources we have in hand will be classified at shelved at the Bierce Circ. desk, or the Science Circ. desk.
These materials will have the same circulation parameters as books:
- I type – "0"
- Status – "-" (dash)
- Imessage – "a"
For serials that are issued more than annually, we will use the call number "Periodical." Such materials will also circulate as a book.
