Notes:
- For materials received as part of the Smith Archives that were not issued by Smith (e.g. recordings by "Smith" composers on other labels, or CDs that Smith distributes but didn't produce), all copies will circulate. Bib record will carry a statement similar to: Acquired as part of the Sylvia Smith Archives.
- For materials purchased with UL funds FAMB or FAMG, all copies will circulate. Bib record will carry a note such as: Acquired in support of the Brazilian Music Collection.
- For donations to Brazilian Music Collection use same guidelines as above.
- For donations to Guitar Foundation of America Archives, make all copies circulating.
