About the University of Akron Libraries: Four library units make up the University of Akron Libraries. The libraries' online catalog, UA Libraries Catalog, contains materials found in each of the libraries.
- Bierce Library: located on Buchtel Commons, is the main library building on the University's main campus. Bierce Library collects books, periodicals, indexes, computerized databases, and archival and audio-visual materials that support reserach in the humanities and social sciences. Bierce Library is a Selective Depository Library for U.S. Government documents. For information, call (330) 972-7234.

- Science & Technology Library:located at 104 Auburn Science Center on the Main Campus, collects books, periodicals, indexes, and computerized databases that support research in the general and applied sciences and medicine.
